Don't feel bad, FL. At the Antic Muse she used to insist she was vastly fat and had to wear a muu-muu, plus her graphic looked on the portly side. She was just messing with us.
The pictured Belle Waring taught at an MFA program in Vermont College, where she received her own MFA in 1988 (previously having obtained degrees in nursing and English), and worked for what seems like a fair length of time. Apparently nursing appears frequently in her poetry. The Belle who has a blog doesn't have muchto say about her life as a professional nurse.
I think Wonkette is foxy.
