It's a Simpsons reference. It's the episode where Homer tries to lose weight by listening to subliminal tapes but they send him Vocabulary Builder tapes instead of the Weight Loss ones.

Early in the episode, Homer sees a commercial on TV. A soothing voice intones:

We take eighteen ounces of sizzling ground beef, and soak it in rich, creamery butter, then we top it off with bacon, ham, and a fried egg. We call it the Good Morning Burger.

Later we hear a similar ad:

We start with pure milk chocolate, add a layer of farm-fresh honey, then we sprinkle on four kinds of sugar, and dip it in rich, creamery butter...

Then he has this conversation with Lisa:

Lisa: Dad, what if I told you you could lose weight without dieting or lifting a finger?

Homer: I'd say you're a lying scumbag, why sweety?

Lisa: Arcording to eternity magazine, you can lose weight through subliminal learning. That's where an idea is subtly implanted in your head without you even knowing it.

Homer: Oh Lisa, that's a load of rich creamery butter.

Mitch, thanks!

ogged: you need to spend more quality time with your TV. It's elevating. Plus, the women love a Simpsons-quotin' man!

Yeah, thanks Mitch, I'm impressed.

I've watched my share of Simpsons episodes, but I can't say I'm a hardcore fan. Law & Order, on the other hand...

Ogged: have you seen this?

Verismilitude is my middle name.

I think Briscoe's got a touch of the mange.

Why do you know so much about odd ailments?

There's a truckload of money in medical experiments, Ogged. Ever since that one in March, though, my johnson itches like crazy.
