Re: My Hair. My Self.

Hair like that is a public trust. Edwards has a responsibility, a duty to show that level of attention.

Stop, stop, stop with the Edwards hair video. Didn't Fahrentheit 9/11 teach us anything? No one looks good when they are in live feed getting ready to go on camera. This is painful to watch, and I hazard that anyone would look this wierd and disassociated when they know a camera is on them.

Good point Duvall. Bequeathed by the Lord, preserved for the People. Kerry/Edwards in '04!

"the Breck girl"? Those republicans are really dating themselves.

Balding is common in persians. Is this jealousy?

Balding is common in persians.

It is? Or just in the bald ones?

Anyway, I'm not stricken yet, thanks Michael.

You've read the rilly, rilly, important full Louis Menand article I link to here, right? It's must reading on why people vote the way they do.

Nah, but I read the one linked here.

"Breck girl" was originally Molly Ivins' term of derision for news anchorette turned Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison. If you watched Frontline's Bush v Kerry episode last week, she is the reporter (just Kay Bailey back then) on many of the Bush items from the early 1970s (she worked for the Houston NBC affiliate).

Contrary to Duvall, John Edwards' hairline is in fact receding somewhat. The Beatle hairdo functions as a combover, though nowhere near the most desperate or flagrant of the species.

Is this just a bad stereotype I have? I obviously defer to your judgment in this matter; it's just my impression that Iranians, like the Irish, are more prone to be bald.

I probably just offended someone Irish.
