Unless the person saying it has an adorable ashkenazic accent, and is elderly and of either gender, or middle-aged and female! Then it's appropriate for a prime-time sitcom.
indeed, you could use "schtup" generally as a PG-13 version of the f-word (particularly as "the f-word" is itself somewhat cloying).

The OED concurs (I knew I'd find a way to work that into a comment), and also seems to favor "shlep" over "schlep".
