Perhaps you should try getting out of the city. Cities are well known for being too solid, bright, and well defined. How far do you have to go to get to some serious green space?
Bravo, mysterious Ms. A. All I can say is given your history of brilliance, I look forward to an even more brilliant shade of brilliance moving forwards. And more peeks into a part of Singapore that isn't in the brochures.
Naturally AA is the perfect place to meet all the crazy Singaporeans, so that's nice.
Indubitably. Unfortunately, they're probably the kind of people you'd want to play poker with, which is, probably a bad idea. Do they have bowling in Singapore?
I was like, all right, this is obviously getting played out.
Golf pants. Banana hat.
But perhaps the appeal is evergreen.
I believe Coil or somebody answered that question back in '88 with Mr. & Mrs. Smack.
So not coming across with the relaxed vibe.
Incense! Crystals! Shiny beads! Sitar music! Without the exclamation points, maybe.
but the being sober all the time part is tough.
Yes, that would be the problem right there, especially with the Wellbutrin dialed up. Hrmmm.
Might I suggest...bubble baths? Unfortunately, yer gonna have the 'too loud' problem for a while. Six weeks, maybe, and still then. Brain's gotta reroute.
Offhand: this is hole where the tricyclics go.
And it seems to go on all the time, too.
I know. The world never seems to nap much. Kinda weird.
I don't know why I was never informed of this state of affairs before.
I was late. Sorry. {pulls out card} {flourishes}
His Majesty, the Emperor of mumbletymumble, Lord High something or other, Protector of the Weak, Oppressor of Newts, and the Vague Far-away Presence That Is Generally In Charge of Things is Pleased to announce to you the following:
Many things are very loud
They never stop going around
Relax, kick back, Burma Shave.
Hrmmm. Not really one of his better works. I suggest you consult the Buddha. Ah, yes, and a prayer wheel would be handy. Or one of those bells. The ones where you run the wooden baton around the rim for that hummmm. That would do nicely.
Yay Alameida! Perhaps this is a good excuse to collect funky sunglasses?
Isn't being a heroin-addict in Singapore dangerous beyond the usual dangerous? Or have I just unwittingly absorbed all kinds of propaganda about how it's one City you really don't want to be doing illegal drugs around.
Yay, Alameida!
Re. the bright/loud stuff, I recommend spending too much time online. Helps create tunnel vision, lets you ignore things.

Just avoid Relapse.
There are crazies in those comments and (mostly) they aren't the type of crazy you meet in AA/NA.
Plus, they refuse to bring baked goods.
I truly hope someone brings you a wicked good cake in a year. Nice to see max is keeping count. Congrats on the two weeks!
