"If reëlected, I will change the colors of the flag."

Well, come on. You haven't redecorated for 200 years, it starts to fade a bit.

I am offering 15 to 1 that some wazzock uses that tank top to claim that Obama wants to make everybody speak Spanish.

And it kind of looks like Michigan.

It looks like Wisconsin gets its hat the Upper Peninsula* and votes Democratic while the remaining portion of Michigan goes Republican.

I had not known until talking to Mara's mom yesterday about Obama phones, which sound like they'd be campaign gear but aren't. Also not that great at maintaining a connection, if hers is any indication.

I'll never cease to be amused by American politicians' complete lack of shame in pulling the "It's an eagle, it's a flag, it's a candidate! I am America!" move.

An obamaphone is someone who sounds like a candidate you like during the campaign but not when he is in office.

Romney's "vintage" is of what vintage, exactly? I was expecting something from the '40's or '50's, when America was saving the world from Nazis and communists, but the white t-shirt could have been worn on "Laugh-In."

I hope they don't have to run any write-in campaigns because Romnev will get a lot of votes.

Also maybe I'm being dense, but on the Mitt and George buttons, who the hell is George? Is it his dad? Is he supposed to be very recognizable, or is that why this is the vintage section where only old people will identify him? Maybe the weird vintage logo comes from George Romney's campaign and he was from Michigan?

How is that an eagle? It kind of has a beak, but what's going on with the body? I would never have thought it was an eagle if not for the description.

Aren't there any talented artists that support Romney? The Cafe Press Ron Paul store is awesome. Conversely, the Cafe Press Mitt Romney store is just as bad as the vintage one. See, e.g., this atrocity.

Romney's "vintage" is of what vintage, exactly?

It's a throwback to his dad's campaign in '68. There was an email from Tagg Romney explaining all of this, which you probably didn't see because you weren't foolish enough to sign up a while back for email updates from all the GOP candidates.

The starry bit is pretty clearly the neck and beak of a bald eagle. The "collar" where the white feathers would meet the brown feathers is a dead giveaway. Given that, the red bits on the right are clearly supposed to be a wing. It looks stupid, but it looks like a stupid eagle.
