I don't think particularly, no. I mean, it's true that it will probably increase people's affection for him, but it's not fundamentally a LaBeouf promotional vehicle.
That is fascinating, and very neat.
I was wondering what inspired them to stage the song in such an elaborate way. I presume it's part of a largest show, but I haven't tried to confirm that because it amuses me to think that the entire thing is just done as a youtube video . . .

Also Rob Cantor seems really into doing weird performance art about celebrities.
