This isn't the 7-11. I can wear what I want.

They're all great, but the Jupiter one is gorgeous.

They're tempting, but acquisition would involve owning more stuff, so. A bad consumer am I.

We have poster printers at work, I'll probably print one of these.

I like the Earth one. I'm a big fan of Earth.

If I had a big-ass printer, I'd print one up. But I don't think 8.5 x 11 would do these things justice.

Which should I try first? I like Earth, Jupiter, Titan, Europa, but the exoplanets are higher in nerd cred.

Kepler 16b is pretty nice.

My boss had a bunch of these printed out. The gravity-assist one is hanging behind my desk.

A few of these were printed on high-quality paper and signed by the artist (I don't think they numbered or editioned them) by the design company when they were initially released. The original storefront ran out of the one I wanted (the Grand Tour), but I reached out to the design shop and it turns outs that they have another storefront where there are a few left. I have my copy, but I haven't even taken it out of the tube because I have no time to get it framed and I don't want it to get jacked up. Storefront is here.

Where did the "travel poster" style come from? Was there an art movement behind it, or is it the product of nameless commercial artists? In ways it reminds me of Soviet-era propaganda art, but with a weird leisure vibe going on.

They remind me of 1930's travel posters. A quick google will show you many examples. Probably some combination of futurism (1920's) and socialist iconography (1920's to ...).

I love these, but i've had a Mars retro-vacation poster up in my room for years. It was a print from some guy on deviant art.
