Re: Only You Can Save Veronica Mars

Is it now cool to link to that blog?

Um, yes?

I hope so?

I'll ask.

Regardless, watch Veronica Mars.

My plan was to link to both blogs once they're both officially launched. And watch Veronica Mars.

Turns out the answer is "no." Let's pretend none of this ever happened.

TOO LATE! I KNOW WHERE YOU ARE NOW, CATHERINE.

Let's pretend none of this ever happened.

Except for Veronica Mars, which everyone's still obligated to watch, Ogged's hollow threat notwithstanding.

Here's a question though. Does it matter if non-Nielsen households watch?

7: YOU'RE WELCOME, OGGED.

I wonder if it matters if TiVo households watch. Surely they're collecting data, right?

Surely they're collecting data, right?

I'm sure they are, but I'm not sure Tivo's data is shared with anyone, or used to determine which shows get picked up.

Damn. If I wasn't stuck overseas for six months (with no TV) I'd totally be watching this tonight. Let's hope the CW makes this stuff available on iTunes soon.

I seem to remember reading something about crazed fans lobbying WB execs on behalf of certain shows ("VM" being one of them) when the whole UPN merger/series Thunderdome action was happening, but I'm not sure if anything outside ratings other than DVD sales really makes a difference.

Let's hope the CW makes this stuff available on iTunes soon.

It'll be up on bittorrent by tomorrow. You're allowed to watch as long as you double-dog swear that you'll buy the DVD when it comes out. It's the law.

Hey, speaking of the CW, are we all boycotting America's Next Top Model until the show resolves its labor dispute with the writers?

I love this: "If Karl Marx had written Nancy Drew, Veronica Mars would be the result."

I call vanguardism! on ogged and this blog. The masses are obviously not adequately prepared.

"In short, the Revolution emanating from all points should not, and must not, depend on a single directing center. The center must not be the source, but the product; not the cause, but the effect of the revolution." ...Bakunin

All my favorite shows get cancelled. It is simply part of the Struggle, and increases patience and determination. And Marsism, with its film noir tropes, is a counter-revolutionary cult of personality.

I'm worried that this show is doomed as it is my friend SuperFan's current favorite show and ALL of her favorite shows get canceled.
