Pictures of home made giraffes. I thought Sweet Baby Jeebus, where will he put them all? Then I clicked. No luck on the $5.

If you look at the bottom, there is a game you can play. Guess the age of the person who submitted the giraffe.

Call Daniel Vovak @ 202-367-4835 and ask him about Alvin Greene's candidacy for the South Carolina Senate seat. Earlier this evening, Greene's Twitter page (since removed) listed Vovak as his campaign manager. When I called, Daniel answered, asked me "what group [I was] with" when I told him I wanted to help the Greene campaign, then hung up on me, claiming he was busy "being interviewed."

South Carolina was batshit before Florida was even settled. We got rights, you know. We want respect.

As noteworthy and longstanding as South Carolina's insanity is, I do have to give Florida credit for longevity.

Is it official that somebody won the primary as a joke?

I preferred the former Green Party candidate who was the Republican candidate in Montana in 2008. At 85 years old he would have fit right into the Senate as well.

South Carolina was crazy back when being a little crazy and rebellious was considered cool by some of the class, but then SC stayed crazy long after everyone else grew up and settled down. Now half the country is like, "C'mon, man. We had some good times and all. But you can't keep doing this forever." And the other half thinks aging bad boy = pathetic loser. Especially in Massachusetts, where we nod our heads and smugly convey that we've always known they were a loser and not going anywhere. We're still bitter about the bullying, you see.

Sometimes I'm surprised the Lege hasn't already changed "Dum spiro spero" to "Hey, y'all, look at me!"

As it happens, I have a couple of giraffe sketches to illustrate a little poem a friend wrote for her son. Perhaps I will be one in a million.

Also, to be on topic, South Carolina is crazy.

Wonder if they accept photos of giraffes. Because I have a ton of those.
