This alternate choreography is great.

And, also via Videogum, the mashup of the Sesame and Willow hair vids.

wow, now I know that the set of people for whom harem pants do not make them look fat is not empty, as I had previously theorized, but is instead full of 9-year-old girls.

I kind of thought #1 was going to link to the "Smells Like Teen Spirit" video.

I'd tell my daughter, but like any proper asian girl she is only into gothic lolita (not as sexy as it sounds, at all. more like alice in wonderland+goth). they don't make cosplay outfits small enough for her, of course, since the other people wearing them are pretending to be her age. I alter/sew them for her, because I am a rockstar mom. she really wants to go to tokyo so she can go to harajuku square. I think it would be fun because she will be surrounded by cool teenagers who think she is cute. indeed, a great cry of kawaii desune will rise above the land. but yeah, willow. pretty cool.

For reasons not worth going into, I saw Kitt Kittredge: An American Girl featuring Willow Smith in a supporting rĂ´le, and was predisposed not to like this.

6: Joan Cusack made that movie well worth the price of admission.

This video is cute, but forgettable. Those kids should still be practicing for the annual school play. Famous parent pushing offspring into prematurely celebrated precocity is a tired theme, surely.

I fscking hate IP based geographical access denial. Bloody Vevo won't let me see this.

(though whether this is a bad thing or not...)

Less sexy than that, even.

Oh, JPV! Awful earworm!

I was wondering yesterday how long it would take for this to reach unfogged and whether heebie or Stanley would be the source. I should make bets more often if this is how well they work!

6: I confess that I got a little teary-eyed about the literacy aspect of the ending when we took the little girls we were mentoring to see it, but my partner flat-out sobbed, which I found sort of endearing. Still not as funny as when my dad took a group of us kids to see Cool Runnings and then wept at the end, though.

I'm imagining Heebie wistfully running her fingers through her new 'do while listening to this song.

That is, she is wistful while listening, not that I imagine her when I listen to this song.

it's OK eggplant, you can admit you imagine heebie when you listen to this song. unfogged is a safe space.

It's fascinating to see Will Smith's face on a 9 year old girl. The resemblance is remarkable.

This seems like an appropriately frivolous place to share this. Nsfw.

I like how this video explores the topic of coloring things by swinging your hair around, something I imagine 9 year old girls would find especially interesting.
