Normally, I'd go for this. But Saturday night I'll be at the Minus the Bear show in SF. (Right now I am in Hayward decompressing from a rush hour drive up the Nimitz Freeway.)
Feel better, emdash: when I proposed a meetup in NYC two Saturdays later, I got crickets. NTTATWWT, cuz people can be busy or not catch the comment, but something for your ego nonetheless. (All apparent little bitching hereby disclaimed, this post offered in sincerity, &c.)
Also, if I were in D.C. I'd totally be there.

When I was in D.C. we met at somewhere that had a patio, and then Armsmasher put on a show. I recommend both options.
Sorry, I live in DC and I'm a regular and I saw emdash post this in a comment thread, but I'm going to be out of town this weekend. Inconvenient.
As for suggestions, the most recent DC meetups were at Local 16 and Busboys and Poets. Previous ones were at Solly's and Saint Ex, and they are still nice. All of that is in the U St. area, though, so if you want somewhere more convenient to someone coming from someone else, or just want to try something new, there are a lot of options on or near the red line. The first that comes to mind is Open City. I guess I'd most recommend Solly's, followed by Open City, but I haven't been to Solly's since the last meetup there, so take it with a grain of salt.
*Has* anyone asked Siri if she wants to sex Mutombo? Apple put a lot of easter eggs into that project, by all accounts...
I'm going to be in Columbus, OH (blissfully alone!) next weekend and would be happy to meet up with anyone, but peep hasn't been around much lately and he's the most obvious target.

29: It would be inconvenient though tempting to drive to Pittsburgh and then back to Columbus, so I'll just raise a glass and assume that Cbus misses you too.
I was in Columbus for most of the last week. Seemed like a more interesting city than I might have guessed.
