I had not been to Ezra's wonkblog for years, and yet I just went and read this very same piece. It's like someone says shrimp or plate-of-shrimp...

And the essay is excellent! Maybe the WP hasn't made him as boring as I'd remembered. But I don't see where he blames the tea-party, perhaps I skimmed too fast. Or maybe that was togolosh's own piercing analysis.
