Re: Unbeketchupped

When PK was an infant we had a set group of friends that came over every week for dinner, tv, and hanging out. We rotated dinner responsibilities. It probably saved my sanity.

My cousin is staying with us for a week and we had my brother and his new girlfriend over for dinner Monday night and then included our next-door neighbor when he got home. The two boys played guitars and the little girls danced and played tambourines and all of us got to talk and eat and it was so much fun, although not quite as much fun for me when I had to go to work the morning after. Lee and I need to make this kind of thing happen more. In conclusion, yay for Stanley!

I tried the thing where I proposed bringing a six pack/bottle of wine/game of cards over to my breeder friends' house.

Everyone should feel free to offer this service to my non-breeder household.

If you bring a six pack or a bottle of wine for the parents, you should also bring at least a can of light beer or a wine cooler for the baby.

5: Oh, I totally plan to try it on some friends of mine who are married, no kids, but still sort of hard to get out of the house. Are you and M/tch shut-ins?
