that those at the table who did not improve their performance would be "passed over."

Isn't that what you want?

That's what makes it so offensive.

He's saying if you don't improve you're one of those filthy Jews.
Anyway, the average number of syllables per word in that story is way too high.

On topic because of the newspaper/asshole intersection: Our mayor is using Facebook enabled comments on to snark about a news article he doesn't like.

Markey wins the primary. Not unexpected, but good to hear.

17 Hate that dude

I'm ignorant; why is he hateable? I don't really know that much about him except that he seems to have made an effort on cap-and-trade a few years back and that he was obviously better than the alternative in this election.

Sounds like a good life.

14: I don't feel like it's a good thing exactly. It's just that we managed to duck Lynch. We avoided a bad thing which is good, but Markey would never be my first choice.

If he wins is there another special election to fill his house seat? I got redistricted into his district last time around. Or do they leave it empty until 2014? Taxation without representation!

20: Yeah, she gave I think one interview, in 1983, and sounded perfectly content with it all. And why not? She got to be world-famous and then to decide it wasn't her speed, then lived in France and did what she wanted for 65 years. I really love her performance in Christmas Holiday.

Now maybe the only stars of the Golden Age left are Olivia de Havilland (also in France) and Joan Fontaine (living in Northern California.)
