I thought this was a metaphor for the U.S./Iranian nuclear deal.

Such an ogged mix. I like Fish Ain't Bitin', quite a bit. Not so much the Death's Black Train, which seems a little shouty, with, you know, the stompin' and hollerin'.

agh you motherfucker I had a dream about buying a whole bundle last night and what do I see when I open up my computer? rassafracking$%JFkig. you come cop, you alleged-cargo-bringing mexican! you may be interested to know that here in narnia heroin is brown, sold in straws that cost $70 each--like a soda straw that has had each end pinched off with heated clips. those little fuckers had better be good for 70 narnian dollars. well, I guess even the meager runner is risking an automatic death sentence sometimes, that's got to push the price up. and...what, powder inside it sounds like? insufficiently refined because brown sugar resemblance? doesn't seem very narnian.

if you were going to close the iron jaws of death on everyone who tries to get heroin in, then the heroin coming in should be white powder, right? how are market incentives failing? that's why you get hash here and not weed. white powder coming in, then you cut it with baby laxative or what the fuck, insecticide for termites...boric acid or something? not actual johnson's & johnson's just because everyone would notice. maybe cambodia just doesn't have very good refineries? they're as good as they need to be and hey, fuck you what else heroin do you got you stupid fucking junkie? it's strong enough to kill a person, as longtime readers know. bah, longer-time readers.

otoh mexican tar heroin is plenty strong and it resembles...[self-explanatory name]. it is brown. one looks at it and imagines they just cooked the opium in a big cauldron while birds died of pleasure overhead and fell in, until the fire went out through lack of tending as all the workers went on the nod and started to have realistic but boring dreams and then they shipped it north. still, much more by weight must be consumed for the same effect as some east coast white powder heroin of fabled 90%+ purity.

my husband disapproves of the sentiment of the post but also suggested that maybe the narnians had raised the death stakes so high that everyone involved in the drug trade had become irrational. (a more charitable version of this thought has all the rational actors being driven out, so that perforce all those left...left making fucking BANK, though!) he's been drinking the water you guys!

ogged should bring me cargo in the form of mexican tar heroin, obviously. I can't imagine what I was thinking. I'll start building a bamboo version of the 16th st mission bart station in sf.

You're right. I should come to Narnia with the wife and kids, heroin in a clear bag in my carry-on, and when they say, "What's this, sir?" I'll say, "That's heroin. It's for my friend Alameida. She says she has trouble finding it here."
