I've never used a mosquito net for sleeping, just the kind that hangs on a hat over your face for hiking. Can't they bite through ones like the picture at the top of the article, if your skin is against the net?

3. At least they've almost eradicated Guinea Worm Disease, aka Dracunculiasis*. That's a pretty gross parasitic infestation that affected over a million people and is now down to 100 or so cases per year; mostly, alas, in South Sudan.

*(Also a good candidate for anagrams including the word "Dracula.")
