I've used Processing to make lights blink on an Aruduino before. I didn't realize it could do .gifs too. Although, supposedly its a programming language for artists, so I guess that makes sense.
Also, public service announcement... "gif" is pronounced with a hard "g". Anyone who tells you its pronounced "jif" is on crack.
