Re: Drains

Whoa! Congratulations. That seems like a big step! Do you just let things heal for a while now or are there other stops before that tattooing?

I think it would be good if the nurse learned some magician tricks because 12" of tubing sounds kind of gross but 12" of tubing, 6' of handkerchief, and small bouquet. would be cheering.

I think just waiting for a while! I won't know if I need corrective surgery for several months.

I have no idea about the bouquet because it's hard to smell yourself, but would 6' of gauze do?

Why would you need corrective surgery when you're always already correct?

Congratulations! Hope you're close to when everything that should be out is out and everything in is in.

The pain from the drains falls plainly in the main.

Congrats!

I was also surprised by how long the drain tubing was. It was a such a relief to have them out.

"I had no idea that there was a full 12" of tubing under the skin under each side. Holy shit. The nurse just kept pulling more and more out. Jammies and I had been guessing maybe 2-3" on the drive down. "

Well, it probably was 2-3" unstretched.

NMM to Lindsey Graham's presidential campaign. I think I've got the right thread.

And then there were fourteen. Fifteen? Whatever, it's more than seven plus-or-minus two.

It's only suspended, not dead.

So it's just circling the drain? Still think I've got the right thread.

"Suspended" is just what they say so they can keep raising money to pay off their debts.
