They are both superlative words.

If there is a connection between Satie and Beyonce, it is unknown to me.

There's no connection at all beyond just pressing play on an hour "video" of music. Or none that I know.

I've become addicted to Philip Corner's Satie Slowly, which is exactly what it says it is. At first it can almost seem like a prank, but once you get acclimated, most other versions really do sound unacceptably jaunty.
