Re: White People Are The Least Racist People

It's easier to pronounce than zoroastrian.

From the linked thread, we learn that the word Hindu derives from a Persian word meaning dark.

Yes, though I wouldn't trust that thread as 100% reliable ethnography, except for Merhad of course.

It's just sad that new people can't re-discover it every few years and leave another Quien es mas Aryan comment.

Hindoo? C'mon, he's a fire worshipper.

(That should make heads explode. Which is probably not a good outcome for a physician. But it would make great water cooler talk. How many heads did you make explode today?)

I've been working on an almost entirely Mexican landscaping crew in one of the most famously white Portland suburbs. The other day a couple of South Asian guys walk by, and one of my coworkers pauses for them to pass, turns to me and says "so many Asians."

Also, I've read that thread before, but I don't recall the jangle pop subthread, which is interesting as heck. Must try more Hitchcock.

Given the link in 2, this is a good thread to share that I just met a British person who is of Indian descent, and it turns out her grandfather was a very prominent Indian Nazi who spent the war in Berlin.

I also have a Persian friend who wants to run for prez. He says he's going to spin his Zoroastrianism as "the original monotheism."

I still haven't gotten 17. Something about them having equal good and evil gods?

It was sad to see Tripp on the thread in 2.

It seems clear to me that Obama really is the anti-Christ. A shocking series of events caused him to have Alan Keyes as his Senate opponent! The world economy imploded to ensure his election! It's just surprising that Satan's goals are so modest.

20: That thread is possibly the greatest thread in the history of threads, but gives me the Pauline Kaels - I don't know anyone who thinks that Obama is the Anti-Christ, but now sometimes on the internet I can feel them.

People who are white... people...
Are the least racist people... in the world...

25: I'm still waiting on the thousand years of darkness my cousin promised me when Obama was reelected. I expect my poor night vision will doom me immediately, but it would be nice to have at least one of the doomsday prophets be right. It must be so disheartening to constantly predict the end of the world only to see it merrily roll on its way.

I'm still waiting on the thousand years of darkness my cousin promised me when Obama was reelected.

We've had almost two years of darkness already since Obama was elected. It's on the instalment plan rather than as one big block.
