And thanks to a feelgood 2012 initiative, sex trafficking, by an extremely expansive definition that could lump in with pimping lots of incidental contact with prostitution, is now registrable in California!

Okay, the part where one guy who is on the registry gets married, has a kid, and is then learns that being on the registry means he can't live with his own kid is an extra-special kind of messed up.

I read this when it came out and haven't reread it all, but I thought one way it really missed the mark was in terms of discussing how many of those put on the registry for actual sex acts against other children are themselves victims of child sexual abuse.
