I was torn between wanting to give a bad Yelp review to the place just to be contrary and shame that I had considered getting a Yelp account.

I've only been in the office one day in the last 3 weeks and will be working from home all the time starting around Thanksgiving. Not having a daily commute may be even better for my quality of life than not seeing my coworkers in the flesh. Once I can use my ankle again I'd like to make Selah's trip to daycare a bike commute, but I guess that means not until spring. And THAT means I won't have the mileage excuse not to get a car (ok, van) that seats seven or eight so the girls can bring friends with us. My life is so boring I don't even Yelp.

Ankle pain is the one constant in life.

Death and ankle pain are what you can't avoid. Donald Trump said we had to remove "taxes" from the list.

This post reminded me to go write a bad Yelp review from this last weekend.

Yes, I hated this last weekend, too! I didn't know Yelp cared.

Waze is almost as good as an official Death Panel. Some of the intersections it has routed me through would have scared even the invincible twenty-year-old me.

Waze is the greatest. Save time, see new neighborhoods. The best. For me personally the most important technological development since the smartphone.

The buses were crowded so I walked home. I caught a Lapras on the way.

The sign amuses me more when I pretend I don't know about the website.

Is Waze one of those things that requires an urban population?

You can use it if you're white.

This is true. It gave me one today. But they recently rolled out a new algorithm in Los Angeles that tries to minimize difficult intersections, and I think it's going national later.

unwelcome is one less letter than not welcome and would have led to a better looking sign.

My mom used to live on Hollywood just south of there. The Assyrian National Council of Illinois is right by there also.

after reading the article you affection makes me feel very flattered by this, it gives a lot of little knowledge, in which the news is presented is very nice and easy to read directly in the subject heading
