Re: All the salty margaritas in Los Angeles

I'm sorry my plans to be out there then didn't work out, though not very sorry because I need to get walking again before I really go anywhere. I can offer my brother's bartending services, but that's all I've got.

I will be in that area on those dates. But, alas, I don't live there.

Nonetheless, although not a citizen of Los Angeles, I am interested in this possible meet up.

It seems that none of the residents of LA are!

How many LA residents do we even have these days? It seems like some of the most prominent ones have left.

Nobody lives in LA any more. There's too much traffic.

I would love to join, nosflow and k-sky, but sadly I'll be in San Diego then.

Taix looks good. We can probably get Biohazard and maybe Halford too.

Halford's out of town.

Is 8 original? It's worthy of Yogi Berra, and it's hauntingly familiar, but I can't find it on the internet.

No one does Yogi Berra riffs anymore. They're too popular.

Nobody votes for Trump anymore. They can't meet the voter ID requirements.

Nobody votes for Trump anymore. Because we're all dead.

I may have forgotten how jokes work.

There's an outside chance I could go to this. But only if I end up taking that whole week off, and then drive the hour+ from my parents' house. Otherwise I'll be back in the Bay Area.

Some met in LA last night and it was good . We did not go to Taix as it was closed for the federal holiday. We went to Mohawk Bend. We had a very incompetent waiter. The finale was messing up the check and then messing up the correction.

29 last was not my brother, at least not unless he's gotten a new job and not told me and decided to become incompetent. But yay for you!!

Not your brother. The waiter was a woman (or presented as such). She wasn't a complete disaster, but that's what made it so odd. She teetered along the edge all the way.
