It's not that there was a problem that might have lost our client 60k that would have been job ending. The original issue is only partly my fault and that's what we have insurance for.
It's that I although worked out a plan to maybe fix it (obscure rules for priority over a judgement mortgage) and got the client to sign the papers I never actually lodged them* because I have to sit down and fix a few details and I keep putting it off.
Starting thinking about this tonight and got panicky, was doing Land Registry searches on my phone and couldn't find the lands registered in the name of the guy who owes our client the money. (Turns out I had the surname wrong.) Got taxi because I was too nervous to drive). Really needed to shoutout to somebody while I was panicking, thanks guys. I was also working out worst case solutions but since they would might ultimately involve getting family to help me pay personally they were far from ideal.

*this sort of thing my Achilles heel. Okay maybe it's time to go back to the counsellor for help in sorting out my self sabotaging habits.
