In health related news, I finally got braces and oh my god do they hurt like a bitch. Like everything else dental-related, it's apparently way worse if you do it as an adult. It's day 4 and they should be getting better now, but I haven't been able to eat anything solid since they got put on.
On day two the pain was awful, I couldn't really eat, and I had to fly on a delayed flight with a dozen toddlers. One of the ones right behind me decided to tantrum for an hour straight. No real point to this story, except to share tales of minor misery.
Who would have thought that using bits of metal to pull on your teeth with sufficient force to move them out of place would hurt?
Somebody was once complaining to me about how much pain it was to get a vasectomy. So I guess there's a hidden downside to getting stabbed in the balls too.

I would put can't eat pain coupled with an hour in coach by a tantrum firmly in the intermediate rather than minor suffering category. May your sufferings soon be mitigated.
