Not sure which Other Place, but I'm probably not cool enough to hang out there.
I was sort of hoping Romania would win, but I'm fairly happy with the Portugese win, the guy looked like a grungy Jake Gyllenhal, and I appreciate that he sang in Portugese. He had these weird hand gestures during his song though.
I think the Aussie flag just has a miniature Union Jack in the corner.
Meanwhile I spent a bit of today tweeting out synonyms for "cock" to help someone who's translating a bawdy story. There's great safety in using minority languages (though I did use a little English to point out that one word is just a transliteration of "tallywhacker".
