Drink at FortPoint is a pretty great bar and would be closer to you than either of those. Central square in Cambridge would be the easiest for me. The bar above Central kitchen is an option.

An update: BG and I have settled on Brick and Mortar (567 Mass Ave Cambridge) at 6:25-6:30. Lurkers welcome. I am a burlyish, graying bearded gent wearing a blue denim shirt and mustard/tan pants. The traditional greeting is "Who wants to sex Mtombo?".
I am short with brown hair and wearing red rain boots. Need to stop by the ATM but will be there in a few.
