News Radio is just a problem all around.

Irving is literally a flat-earthier, no?

Also didn't want to play with LeBron, which makes him the dumbest player in the league.

David Brooks is Joe Rogan's idea of what Kyrie Irving sounds like.

It's important to keep your pop culture references fresh.

What is smart about Irving? I can sort of see it about Rogan, who has parlayed a genuine if dudebroish curiosity into a huge following

Joe Rogan has a little of that Adam Corolla smartest guy among his dumb friends thing going.

I'm a basketball fan, and I'm unaware of any evidence that Kyrie Irving is smart. He's very skilled and talented, but those are different things.

This clip made me think well of him at the time. But he could still be dumb as a stump, I suppose. https://twitter.com/snynets/status/1351600125861310467

I saw some rando on Defector noting that Irving's political sensibilities--reflexively siding with underdogs and the downtrodden--are great, which makes it all the more a shame that he's a stupid person who thinks he's a genius, which leads those good impulses to down to this shit and the Flat Earth trolling and his Yakub the Scientist-adjacent retweeting and showing up at Pine Ridge (genuinely admirable!) unmasked and breaking COVID protocols.

Ha, 15 unintentionally to 14. (AFAICT Irving was right about the NBA bubble and the Floyd protests, too, even if as a players' union official he maybe should have been more diplomatic about most of the players wanting to play.)

That's a good way to put it.
