E. tests out new curriculum on my kids and they think it's very fun

I guess rabbits are expensive.

Donate page doesn't seem to work?

That was tested on animals. But if you scroll down on the main page, there are other donation links that work.

I recently discovered that not only can you tell, from watching someone sign in British Sign Language, whether they are from the south of England or Scotland - I sort of knew that already - but you can tell whether they are from Edinburgh or Glasgow, and, if they're from Glasgow, you can tell whether they're Protestant or Catholic.

In Ireland, the deaf schools used to be segregated by gender. There were several generations where women's ISL was different than men's.

BSL has like 1,000 different number systems which is very confusing.

There's a lot more standardization with the youths because of TV, internet, and accessibilty laws.

I will see if I can get the link fixed! Thank you!

The website is such a train wreck. Which link doesn't work?

The giant "donate now" button. Takes me to a page that just says "Thank you for partnering with us to cultivate a thriving and vibrant ASL community!"

I have my back-end volunteer helper working on it, but I think the only button that doesn't work ("Donate Now" in the website header) is beyond my control (and is supposed to go to donations for the host organization anyway, not my specific program).

This link works though!

7: yeah I don't know what's going on. Except that the people in charge of Conservatory ASL NW just had a baby (number 6!) and are pretty AWOL. Or, AWAGE I guess.

Hard to tell the difference between today's sidebar and what my inbox looks like during an election year.

It's probably too close to the freeway for a nice place to build a house, but someone is selling a used bridge pier.

Apologies. I meant to put than in the campaign finance thread. For some reason that seemed like a better idea.

I was looking through property tax sales and found some properties that were entirely underwater, so you could theoretically put up a pier or fill it in I guess.

Thank you all so much!

I don't have access to the info for direct donations until the host nonprofit sends it to me, but I have gotten notifications that people are donating! You will get individualized thank you notes whenever Amanda (mom of 6 with a newborn) gets around to it. But I appreciate all of you extremely much.

It is 4 below and falling. There's an avalanche warning! But I don't live by the mountain.
