Naming cars is just stupid. The exception is when said car-namer is an astonishingly attractive woman, preferable with an accent, in which case it can be overlooked.
Are you serious about the use up all of the oil thing? I can't imagine what would happen if that occured. Probably canabalism...(I call Mike Savage!) SUV's aren't evil because they place us in the power of OPEC; they're evil because they waste a resource that we need for more important things. Reducing world consumption on oil is a good goal, but I don't imagine that we could stop consuming oil without a drastic change to our way of living, and most likely not for the better.
What about bikes? I wouldn't name a car, but I think bikes deserve names.
