For the mopey, short-tempered moments, I recommend Sarah Harmer's record, You Were Here. I don't guarantee it'll take away the mope, but you'll at least be in good company.

That PMS bit was funny.

Doesn't sound like PMS to me -- that's more "dulled and edgy" at the same time, so sometimes the fuse is short, and sometimes it's not there at all.

I'd try the old standby "pus-y" (that's one "s", thank you very much).
