My wife was manning the registration desk for a Common Boundaries conference in DC back in '94. A guy walked up to sign in and said, "I'm Leonard Cohen."
She looked up and asked, "The Leonard Cohen?"
He shrugged and replied, "I am a Leonard Cohen."
It was the Leonard Cohen.
