Re: Hyperactive

[T]hose who are "unteachable" are the so-called "progressives" whose cherished socialist and pop-psyche dogmas have been thoroughly discredited by history.

I came to the conclusion that the left are really adult adolescents. VDH makes my thought much clearer.

Watermelons are unteachable because they are too young mentally, even if they are 10, 35 or 60.

Golly gosh I'm, too hyper......

I meant to include this with the above link:

"....you can only successfully be a pacifist if you are surrounded by fellow citizens who aren't. (It's arguable that pacifists are "free riders".

"Let's try to negotiate" is a good general rule, but when you're dealing with someone with whom you've negotiated in the past, who ignored the agreements you made, and who shows no sign of changing now, then negotiation ceases to be an alternative. But they'll call for new negotiations anyway, because they'll never acknowledge that negotiations are useless. To say that would be to accept that we'd reached the "last resort", and we never reach the last resort. We never fight wars.

Such people are in practice pacifists, but without openly acknowledging that fact.

abc, you're starting to annoy me. You used to be on topic. Try to recapture your former glory, or I'll just start deleting these things.

Ooh. I left this out too.

Leave me alone.

I won't pick up the phone.

And I won't listen to messages

Sent by someone who calls up and says.

I don't like how your living my life.

Get yourself a wife.

Get yourself a job.

Your living a dream.

Don't you be a slob.

Leave me again.

Don't hang out in my den.

Waiting for little clues to appear

That I drank some of granddaddy's beer.

I don't like how your living my life.

Get yourself a wife.

Get yourself a job.

Your living a dream.

Don't you be a slob.

Slob, slob.

(Solo)

Waiting for little clues to appear

That I drank some of granddaddy's beer.

I don't like how your living my life.

Get yourself a wife.

Get yourself a job.

Your living a dream

Don't you be a slob.

Slob, slob.

Weezer. Slob.

I find it kind of amusing that the article by VDH engages in the exact same generalized snobbery he is accusing Smiley of. I mean he criticizes the left for making all these generalizations about the right by making generalizations about the left. The hypocrisy is so blatant it practically burns.
