I could walk over to his office in about half an hour, too. It's only a few blocks from here. You can only imagine how much local tv news around here has been feeding off the whole thing for the past week. I did like the moment when he was striding along the campus on his way to a class, surrounded, of course, by a horde of reporters, students, and hangers-on, and, smoking his cigerette, he growled "get the fuck out of my way."
The guy's opinions are disgusting, but I do think academic freedom to be a complete asshole has value. I'm just so liberal.
