Geez. And wasn't there a story about a dude who set up shop as a "groinacologist" at some self-storage rental place? He told his "patients" he was between offices.

So, Dead Ringers is now a pseudo-documentary. Good to know.

Definitive proof that movies and books turn people into criminals. Good to know.

I thought Dead Ringers was loosely based on a true story? This review This review seems consistent with my memory, if we can trust my memory and the New York Times.

Dead Ringers was loosely based on a very wierd magazine article of the same title by Ron Rosenbaum.

It's anthologized in this book, which is worth buying used & new from $2.49.
