Re: Eclipsed?

Once back in dear old Euphoria State, a colleage got a final exam back which just contained exerts of these lyrics written again and again. Said colleague, having no idea that the song existed, thought that this was some sort of delusional raving/stalking note directed at him. THis was the sort of thing that seemed to be in the water that year.

It turns out the student just didn't know the answers to the essay and was embarassed to leave class until an hour had gone by.

I take it you haven't seen the video for Kompressor's cover of "The Girl from Ipanema".

I love when the guy's pants start to fall off and he just doesn't care.

Jessica Sierra of American Idol (I don't watch it . . . I mere observe for the sake of cultural reference) did the song a great injustice on Tuesday. Her performance has actually gotten me to consider buying an mp3 player so that I wash that bad taste out.

My friend Kathy's housemates, The Perve, did their own version.

Kathy can be heard contributing to the song halfway through. (Just imagine hearing your housemates singing "Turn around" over and over and over. You'll recognize her contribution.)
