Hey! No faking identities!

Anyway, my real answer, not the one cw posted on my behalf, is that what you do is fine. It doesn't take much longer than going in to pay, which is a reasonable standard. The station yesterday was one of those busy interstate stations, and there was a parking lot twenty feet away.

Does this make me a bad person?

No, that's not what's doing it.

You are only exempted from bad personhood if you literally run to the gas station (and back). If you saunter, perambulate, walk, or even jog, then yes, you are a bad person.

What about skipping? I bet FL can skip pretty fast.

Hey! No faking identities!

That was me. I couldn't resist.

Oh, I see you outed me already. I figured I was asking for that when I did it.

Hmm, I'm moving. I can't decide whether to change my identity to something more opaque. Not that you couldn't reveal my identity at your convenience.

I wouldn't do that, being fond of protecting identities generally.

More opaque than "cw"? Like what, "nq"?

So does this mean ogged knows F. Winston's identity?

Fuck to oboe, Fontana Jesus, this is ridiculous. How could you append a moral query to such a weak quandry? When I see "Does this make me a bad person? Discuss," I expect to have read about the mine shaft or co-eds or something other than how you buy your beef jerky.

Hmm. This gives me an idea for a post.

I hope we can all avoid the temptation crassly to expand upon Kriston's mention of buying beef jerky. As it stands it's motion in stillness such as the acme of Greek statuary couldn't achieve.

I'd have to see him skipping before making that call. Thanks for bringing it up, Ben.

Ben, I hate to put you on point after receiving your high praise, but is it your policy not to split the infinitive?

It's not a policy. I like slightly stilted, antiquated sound putting the word in front of "to" creates. If it were policy I would have written "to expand crassly"; I think that sounds more natural.

OK, that's a little like enjambe—I like it.
