Re: Walter Cronkite's Favorite Blog

That blog is a bit freaky. Not a cock joke amongst the lot. Who'd a thunk you could have that much blog without 'em.

But it has inspired me to think of the blogoworld in new ways. Let me suggest a counter blog with more right wing stars, Ted Nugent, Wayne Newton, Bo Derek, Charlton Heston, along with Henry Kissinger, Alan Simpson and... Joe Scarborough and Arianna Huffington! Art Linkletter could have the Cronkite role. Instead of Andy Stern, they could get John Engler of the National Association of Manufacturers or whatever business group he flacks for now. For tokenish liberals we could get that nice Michael Kinsley. It would really help knit the community of conservatism together in a way that makes it more relevant to somebody...

Or better yet, a group blog of former child stars. Perhaps specializing in substance abuse and prison reform issues or geared to giving us. A point counterpoint with Dana Plato and Danny Bonaduce would be a great way to give people new insight about Iraq and stuff.

Oops. That comment was a grammatical train wreck. I must still be blinded by the blog...

I think Kaus has the liberal spot on that blog sewn up. Or Roger L. Simon.
