Re: Being and Time Update

I'll have to get in touch with everyone participating to give you all logins to the new site.

Will the site require a login just to read it? I know the discussion won't make much sense if I'm not reading along, but I'm curious anyway.

So umm... the untrained philosophers get to demonstrate their ignorance in public? Ok, two things:

a) How will it then be different from this place?

b) Can we change our pseudonyms?

Just kidding. Looking forward to getting started.

From "About Unfogged": Your comments, emails, home-baked cookies and cashiers checks will always be appreciated.

I was going to email you a cashier's check and a cookie, but I couldn't find your email addy, so I sent them to typhoon relief. Probably best that way.

I have a 6-month Idiocentrism retrospective up at http://www.idiocentrism.com , should anyone be interested.

as I recall, the stambough translation was better in some parts, and in some parts, the old translation was better. I don't have a clear idea which one was better overall, just that different things were clearer in different translations.

I've been thinking about this, and I really can't promise to read all of B&T. But I'd like to be counted in anyway, as I've already read it, and I think I can find time to re-read parts and also perhaps this will prompt me to open explore some of the related literature I have laying around.
