Thank GOD there's someone else out there who's read enough public health publications to get giggly when a wingnut talks about how awful Wolf Blitzer and other members of the "MSM" are.
I think wingnuts are the only people who think more about gay sex than gays do. Much as I don't buy Jung, their wingnut coining of MSM as shorthand for a media critique is so beyond coincidental that it suggests an interconnected, inescapable synchronicity in the universe...
It took me the longest time to figure out what MSM was (also being public health folk and not being able to place the acronym in the context I would usually) for weeks I think I believed that it was simply a mispronunciation of MSNBC. Cognitive dissonance anyone?
