What isn't better than Cats?
Joe Queenan once described Cats as "Grease, if the entire cast dressed like KISS."
That should be "Better than Cats." I was worried that the title of this post was nonsensical--because nothing is better than cats.
A fortiori, a Cuban sandwich is better than cats.
The interviews I heard with Joe Queenan on his book Joe Queenan's America were hilarious. I never bought the book, though. I particularly liked his take on Branson, MO. Why, indeed, would anyone go to Manhattan and eat at the Olive Garden? (I've never been. My sister tells me that it's not half bad, but she would never choose the OG over a real Italian restaurant.)
