I don't think you can strike Liz Phair off your "list of workshipped artists" without having listened to the record. You know she rocks. She's been rocking you for years. Give it a shot. Besides, if you don't buy the record, and tell us how it is, how am I going to know whether or not I should buy it? We're counting on you, UNF.

As for an unembarrassing form of career suicide? Maybe that guy from Office Space. The one who figured out what to do with all the leftover pennies. That guy was supersmart. Does that count?

I read the same review and am experiencing the same dilemma. The picture of Phair in "bubble-gum pop" mode really is embarrassing.
