Re: Look away! Look away!

I told you if you kept reading Glenn your mind would freeze like that!

Speaking of which, didn't you swear off Glenn just a week or two ago? Haven't you been going to the 12 Step meetings??

Anyway, you're definitely out of the lifeboat.

FL, you're really Glenn Reynolds, aren't you?

That means you don't know a damn thing about the right of dead violinists to life.

Tool.

4: I think it's the third time you look at it that its inherent suckiness really hits you.

Why shoudl FL care about some semi-dead violinist? Now, a bassist that's quite a different story.

Well, Professor Reynolds has also been known to enjoy meaty cocks.

Hey where is the thread where you guys were talking about trying to fart and shitting in a church? Because it occurred to me this morning that nobody had made the mandatory David Foster Wallace reference on that thread, but now I can't find it. I think it's recent enough that comments should still be open.

Careful. LB might punch you in the brains.

No, no, I have complex and not entirely negative feelings about DFW's works. I can see possibly wanting to berate him, but not someone who likes him.

When are you going to add footnote capabilities to the comments?

I've put footnotes in comments before. * gets you a superscripted asterisk like so*. Then you type the note at the end of your comment, and Bob's your uncle.

Are you sure a superscripted asterisk is different from a regular asterisk?

Come to think of it, it doesn't. Never mind.

This is awfully non sequiturish, but that reminds me of a line ("You know what? This isn't a truism at all.") from what I maintain is the funniest thing ever posted at McSweeney's.

THERE ARE ONLY FOUR ELEMENTS, according to Aristotle and the true philosophy. These elements are bismuth, francium, cobalt, and style.

Even worse, FL quotes "Dixie" in the post title. Add crypto-racism to the other charges.
