Nice. Some of those links go to very excellent music (not disparaging other links, just did not follow them all).

Awesome. Who is the guy who is introducing "Cool Drink of Water"?

As long as you're going there, you might as well check out Dock Boggs too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3z0LZDxoCI

And while you're at it, there's a good one of Clark Kessinger at a fiddlers contest: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SwInLwtNZY

If you know anyone who has a baby, find Clark Kessinger's old album on Rounder. Sweet longbow fiddling. Babies love it. http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?id=67626928&s=143441

This seems like a good time to plug Wayne Henderson't latest recordning again.

I give it the highest praise that I can both for the virtuosity of the playing and the quality and immediacy of the recording (all of it was recorded live).

sample I -- a reworking of a possibly recognizable tune.

sample II -- more representative of the music on the album

I think the Houston Stackhouse is from a BBC documentary called THE DEVILS MUSIC.
