I'll go for that as soon as they break up Texas. Or give Texas back to Mexico, either one would be good.
Plus we get not two but 12 senators!
I was wondering how many senators each party would pick up. I'm not sure it wouldn't be a net Republican gain. In any event, the specter of the Bay Area (which would outvote more conservative Sacramento) getting two senators is enough to ensure that this will never happen.
