Re: I Believe In Creation

I saw a bit of it last night, I thought it was good; wasn't too serious or too flippant. Reminded me a bit of the Jesus Camp documentary. And yeah, the part you mention really was painful.

I haven't seen it, but it does remind a bit of Jesus Camp as Matt says. That had some pretty painful moments, too. All made up for by the bit at the end with the drug & homosexual prostitute loving pastor doing his bit, pre-scandal.

You know, this and the previous two posts are really the kind of things I don't want to think about very much. Please return to blogging about Jessica Biel's ass.

That thread kind of bugged me, until the boyfriend showed me a video of Jessica Biel practicing fighting moves for some movie, and OH MY GOD was her ass impressive in motion. So I am now convinced that, much as otherwise monogamous couples have an "out" clause if Extreme Hottie Famous Person X offers to bed them, the Mineshaft should get a free pass on objectification, but only when they're talking about Jessica Biel's ass.

I trust Alexandra Pelosi not at all. (Her mom, I'm fine with.) I'm going to assume she slandered the Evangelicals.

How's this for a post?

Jessica Biel's ass: Still round!

I caught the part with kids being taught about creationism, and I think it might have been easier to watch the kids being beaten.

This is me every time I see my niece and nephew.

5: I'm sure it was your link he clicked on.

ATTENTION MINESHAFT: OGGED'S LINK CHANGED MY MIND ABOUT OBJECTIFIYING JESSICA BIEL'S ASS.

Better?

I met her on the Dean campaign. She's not someone I'd prefer to hang out with.

I know she covered the '00 and '04 campaigns, but never really saw anything she put out. What's the story?

She was around, with her camera. One of my friends had a thing for her. She just rubbed most of us the wrong way.

watching her '04 video, she's plainly annoying, but the she does get video of events you're won't otherwise witness. And it's pretty entertaining watching Kerry repeatedly have to deal with her annoyingness, in his patrician way.

She played the writer on "Murder She Wrote".

I initially read the last sentence of the post as "I know it's not hard to make evangelicals look ridiculous, but it's hard not to make evangelicals look ridiculous."

You mean both Kerry and Pelosi have filmmaker daughters named Alexandra? Wacky.

Also Alexandra Polier, Kerry's rumored concubine. Not yet a filmmaker, but she's in media.

Oy. I actually had a bit of early bog trouble over the Polier affair and feel the need to roundly contradict that. She later wrote a piece in New York magazine documenting the whole thing. It seems that Kerry's main interest in her was to set her up with one of his staffers---in fact, reading her description of him was one of the most endearing things I ever read about him. It made him sound rather sweet and parental in that Anne-of-Green-Gables matchmaky kind of way.

Gosh, that's tough. Were you able to secure the services of a decent plumber? Was his ass round?

The only thing I know about Jessical Biel is that her ass is nothing compared to that greek chick the other day. What either of them have to do with anything is superfluous; ass. Given that, has anyone read Against the Day:Unlucky Charms?

fm: I am reading Against the Day and blogging sporadically about it here. What's Unlucky Charms, an unsuccessful breakfast cereal? And why do you call Ms. Biel's ass superfluous -- is there too much of it?

(One feature of my Against the Day read which I have not mentioned on my blog or really anywhere, is that I am identifying the characters as I go along each with a different Mineshaft persona.)
