Re: It's always five o'clock somewhere

1) "ibn bush" needs a youtube movie.

2) So, the video was posted in May of 2006, which means it's not the sort of thing you'd just stumble across in your daily youtube roundups, so... how'd you find it?

I've thought for a while now that Danger! High Voltage would make a great karaoke song.

peaches did a cover of this song. electric six also covered peaches' rock show. both were awesome.

Anyway, the video is outstanding. It's the expressions and gestures during the 'non-vocal' passages that make it so fine.

Charlie, nowhere near as good as "Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner". Gilliard ran a YouTube video of Zevon doing it live a couple of weeks ago.

Dude, if you can use GarageBand you can use iMovie.

You're eliding the can/should distinction.

Also, I just realized, it's not iMovie that's the problem, it's getting the raw video footage to draw from.

He had to sample the vocal tracks somehow. I'm guessing from video footage.

The ibn Bush sounds were taken from online mp3s of speeches, but I bet video of the SOTU and the Sept 20 address are around somewhere.

Ah, I figured they were from videos of speeches. Slightly harder then, but heck, it gives you something to do in your cardboard box amenitied crib.

14: I'm pretty sure I had seen in this in the bad old days of 2004. I used to make CD compilations of fun internet videos for friends still stuck on dial up.

It's not wrong, Robust, but if you claim that the look on Blair's face when Bush says "I've got something to put in you" isn't funny I will drive to your home and kill you.
