Re: With a flashlight in one hand, bottle of cough syrup in the other

Is it that Mary Halvorson doesn't shred enough? She certainly can.

She's new here and she doesn't give a fuck.

Well, John Zorn can play a soulful and sweet rendition of "My Favorite Things", but I haven't heard him on the local NPR jazz station lately.

I ban myself for beginning that comment with "Well", as it implies sarcasm and condescension.

We now know where Wolfoson stands on ante-meridian versus ante-meridiem. I shall modify my writing accordingly.

Cryptic Ned apologizes for his phrasing in 2, but it's an apt point. Comparing People to Marnie Stern seems a little apples-and-oranges from what I've heard of each.

The show sounds interesting, though. I'll make a concerted effort to catch it.

With whom shall your efforts be in concert?

Ben's voice sounds disconcertingly like my own, as I hear it recorded on answering machines, interviews, etc. Makes listening to these shows—I enjoyed this one too, by the way, although I was training someone for the first half—an odd experience.
