(If I'd listened to what Momma said,
I'd 've been working from home today,
Being so young and foolish, though,
Let a blogger lead me astray.)

Does anyone else have the impression that Catherine is drunk about 90% of the time?

i would peg it more like 75%.

I have the impression that everybody here is drunk 90% of the time (exc. Alameida), but that's probably an artifact of distance.

I try to reserve drunkenness for actual meetups. Speaking of which, Scott Lemeuix of LGM's birthday is next week, and he's proposed an Unfogged bar night on Tuesday the 13 (yes, his own commenters are apparently no fun.) I'll put up a post when the location is set, but anyone who's interested in coming out to play next week should save the date.

Fun cultural fact of the day: Tuesday the 13th is the South-of-the-border equivalent of Friday the 13th.

8: (That's NYC for the meetup, for anyone who doesn't lurk assiduously enough to know where people are located. Lurkers, as always, explicitly invited.)

re: 7

I am very very rarely drunk.

[Mostly for reasons of high alcohol tolerance and social pariah-hood, though]

You don't need other people to get drunk. Mostly they just get in the way.

13 S/B "In my opinion I am very rarely drunk".

The policeman, the judge, your family and friends, the neighbors, and idle passersby may have claimed that you're drunk, ttaM, but you're the only one who's really in a position to know. It's your consciousness, not theirs.

It's your consciousness

So the times I was very buzzed, I blacked out, then came to at home (wondering where is the car this time) I never was drunk? I like that.

I'm probably drunk a lot, but the short-term memory loss from the marijuana makes it hard for me to say it with any real certainty.

maybe I could diavlog with Ogged

There was a time in the not-so-distant past when this sentence wouldn't have made a lick o' sense.

Also, Ogged would probably have to use one of those voice anonymizers and be filmed in shadow, to protect the innocent.

They must make full-function Vader costumes.

Vader wore heels? And I don't know if that costume also does the voice modification.
